The type of cabinet and countertop you select dictates availability and lead time. Wood species, door style, dimensions, color, finishes, hardware and accessories are the variables. Here are our current rules of thumb for three types of cabinets. All lead times are from order date to job site delivery. Add additional time for the design process (pre-order) and countertop measurement/fabrication/installation after cabinets are installed.

Cabinetry

Stock 2-4 week lead times
Semi-Custom 8-18 week lead times
Custom 18-26 week lead times

Countertops

Preston Feather has quality local fabrication partners who are reliable and do a great job for us. Countertops cannot be measured accurately until cabinets are installed, and the tops cannot be fabricated until templated. We accompany our fabricators both to the template and installation.

Mike Bischoff Retirement

The time has officially come and Mike Bischoff has retired! Our team gathered in Petoskey on October 31st to celebrate over 40 years of working with Mike! There were many memories shared, great food, and lots of laughs. We will miss him but appreciate all the time and knowledge Mike has given to Preston Feather.
